On the 27th and 28th of September 2019, NIS Semey students students became delegates at the international dialogue platform of II International Central Asia Model United Nations (CAMUN) which will be held annually in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
CAMUN is an international dialogue platform, which is attended by more than 250 delegates from more than 8 countries, such as Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, India, Pakistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, etc. 20 students of NIS Semey took part in solving 8 global problems. We are confident that cooperation between NISSMUN and CAMUN will be able to make an even greater contribution in the future.
12th grade NIS Semey student Aruzhan Stakhan and 11th grade Alina Seril won ‘Honorable Mention’. 12th grade students Aruzhan Tursynkhanova served as committee Chairs. NIS Semey was thanked for its valuable assistance and contribution to CAMUN.
CAMUN allowed students not only to test themselves and their skills in diplomatic conversations, speaking skills but also to make new friends and take irreplaceable experience. We are happy to be the part of big CAMUNity.
