Students of NIS Semey Attended the MUN Conference in Pavlodar!

On November 29, the MUN conference was held in Pavlodar. Nine students of NIS Semey have participated in NISMUNPVL. The conference gave a storm of emotions and unforgettable memories to all participants.

“There were no problems with the organization of the conference. We had only one problem, that we were late for 1 hour, so organization of the conference were tremblingly waiting for us. When we also were late for a late dinner, friendly students of NIS in Pavlodar brought it to our hostel keeping it warm. Everyone was interested in our conditions, which tells us about their kindness. Everyone was pleased about the way they met us, and because of this, I still have the most pleasant memories."

“In general, I liked the conference, people are friendly and helpful. Based on the fact that this  is their first time, the level was quite good, but there were still some minor shortages. Students from local schools of Pavlodar also participated in the conference. Therefore, it was very exciting to know that there will not only be NIS students. It is also worth noting that this was my first conference, and getting the nomination “Best Delegate” meant a lot. This is not only my merit, it is also the merit of my friends and teachers who helped and supported me.”

It’s important to note that this conference was fruitful and useful for the participants. Five students from our school became winners in different nominations: 2 nominations for the “Best position paper”, other 2 for the “Best delegate” and 1 for the “Honorable Mention”. This conference in Pavlodar was first experience for many students. All participants are satisfied with participation and we are grateful for such a warm welcome and an excellent and most importantly interesting conference.
